Support our work

Since ClimateWorks’ establishment in 2009 through a partnership between The Myer Foundation and Monash University, philanthropic support has been key to achieving our mission of catalysing Australia’s transition to a prosperous, net zero emissions future. It has allowed us to remain truly independent, evidence-based and non-partisan.

Generous philanthropic support provides the solid foundation needed to ensure ClimateWorks can continue to focus on the agenda-setting research which is already contributing to significant cross-sectoral impact. Our independence enables us to remain policy agnostic, and uncover practical, evidence-based solutions. It also affords us the time and effort needed to deliver an end-to-end approach, ensuring our work is not only well-understood by key decision-makers in business and government, it also addresses any barriers to implementation.

Our ongoing partnership with philanthropy provides a powerful example of how, together, philanthropy and ClimateWorks can address a key, complex, interdependent, and global challenge such as climate change.

Your support will be doubled

In addition to a recent donation of AUD $2.5 million, this partner has also offered to match every additional philanthropic dollar gifted to ClimateWorks Australia, up to an additional AUD $2.5 million. This represents a significant opportunity for funders to further your impact in contributing to ClimateWorks’ success.
